Instead of bold stripes of colour this speckled darning yarn will give just a hint of colour with an occassional sprinkle of aqua, denim, or burnt orange.
 
A medium- weight 8-ply yarn which can split into a single strand for mending very fine knitwear, or use multiple strands e.g. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or the full 8 strands if you require a thicker yarn for your mending project.
 
This yarn is pre-consumer waste yarn rescued from a high-quality Italian textile mill and as such stock of this colourway is limited so pick it up while you can!
 
It contains no added synthetic fibres unlike most darning wool or mending yarns and therefore releases no micro-plastics in the wash. We much prefer to source pure yarn which helps to reduce our impact on the planet, so this one gets a big tick from us! 
 
Each card contains approximately 10 m (33 ft) of yarn.
